Heyyy!

My name is Dejah, and you’re actually experiencing a Creative Breakthrough.

It’s a damn shame how much trying to be an adult will deplete your Creativity. We’re not here to recap those nuances tho, but we are going back in time….

My creative journey started with

Photography:

First of all, I have been trying to log into my Behance account for years - I can only view it as a visitor LOLLL!

Anyway,

I started with creative photoshoots - which were FLY, okay!

In the midst of photoshoots, I aways captured anything else I felt was interesting, focusing on perspective, and editing with high saturation because we LOVE poppy colors if you haven’t noticed.

Intro to Design:

My introduction to graphic design started in High School - Varina Center for Communications - what an era (=

This is one of those moments where you look back and wish your childish self would’ve taken an opportunity more seriously - because who gets to center their entire high education around Mass Comm?

We literally touched everything from digital and print design, to video production. It was actually pretty dope when you think about it, and clearly planted a seed.

Today,

I’m a full-time Entreprenuer!

And while that sounds amazing, chile we are definitely still working out the kinks.

As a Designer, I work with a Black Woman-owned communications firm with our clientele being local non-profits and organizations. My freelance clients are typically Black: Businesses, Professionals, and Community Leaders.

Yes, you see what’s going on around here.

Design Portfolio

As a Photographer, I simply just take random photographs and sell my favorite ones as canvas prints.

In fact, all of my current prints are actually photographs I shot and edited years ago - so check them out!
